
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her business partner Raj Kundra on Tuesday bought 12 per cent stake (investing $15.4 million) in the Indian Premier League team Rajasthan Royals. The news has been confirmed by Rajasthan Royals owner Manoj Badale said
Shilpa will be promoting the team and will also make a misic video to promote the RR team.
Rajasthan Royals is an Indian Premier League (IPL) 20/20 team which is led by Australian spin legend Shane Warne. The team also has international stars like South African skipper Graeme Smith and Aussie all-rounder Shane Watson. Shilpa is the third Bollywood star after Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta to buy a stake in IPL teams. While Shah Rukh owns Kolkata Knight Riders, Preity has a stake in Kings XI Punjab, the semi-finalists last year.
