This marketing is taking the piss

Easily the best piece of guerrilla marketing of CES comes from Seal Shield. These "splash mats" were placed in the urinals near the press room in the Venetian Hotel.

Hundreds of reporters must have looked at them (eyes down is the no 1 rule in men's urinals) and read "Your keyboard has 400 times the bacteria than this urinal." Apparently Seal Shield makes dishwasherproof keyboards and remote controls.

I should point out that this splash mat was retreived by the attendent wearing disposable gloves, thoroughly washed and dried before the picture was taken. As you can imagine, strolling into the men's toilets with a camera would not have been a good idea.
